Award-winning gardening brightens your BIAParkdale Green Thumb Enterprises
(PGTE) is an award-winning gardening social enterprise operated by Working for Change. PGTE’s first contract in 2001 was with the Parkdale Village Business Improvement Area. 16 years later, we offer plant maintenance, landscaping and streetscaping services to a wide range of clients. Our specialty is serving BIA’s. Dundas West, Roncesvalles, Parkdale Village and Baby Point Gates BIAs are just a few of our happy clients.

In addition, we also offer services to non-profit organizations, hospitals and community organizations. From Baby Point to East York, we beautify your Toronto neighbourhood — for a good cause!

People, Planet, Profit

Our environmentally friendly methods promote healthy neighbourhoods and competitive prices for our clients. Our staff use public transit and bicycles to access work sites.

Portable, hand-held watering equipment (not trucks!) means we don’t waste water and plants get individual attention. We favour native plant species whenever possible, to support our pollinator friends.
